Andrade video response

After watching his video, I agree with a lot of what Jeff Duncan-Andrade was saying. The way students are being taught in public schools isn't really helping them but instead it's telling them that they're not good enough and just expect them to do better in any subject. I feel like I am one of those  students that looks like they don't care, but like Mr. McFarland said, I'm actually just scared. scared that I'm going to do something wrong or that it won't be good enough. I honestly feel like I'm not even a good enough student to even be here right now. I'm not sure if it has to do with all the years I was in public school or something else. talking about this in class has made me think about what kind of student I am and what the factors are that made me this way.
